Tuition

Course Tuition: $250.00 per year, which covers operating expenses. All Dharma Teacher Order leaders are volunteers.  Since its inception, The Dharma Teacher Order has never turned away any student for financial reasons.

Books:Students are responsible for the purchase of books. Amazon.com is a good resource for used, affordable books. Some texts are available for free on the web.

Meditation Cushions: Students are responsible to bring their own cushions.
Cushions generally range between $50 – $75. Chairs are also available for those with difficulty sitting on cushions. Some sanghas may provide cushions, check on the state locations page to see if your state does.

Days of Mindfulness: Days of Mindfulness are an important part of the sangha practice experience. A freewill donation (Dana) is requested.

3-Day Mid Year Retreat: This retreat is in Texas. You will meet and practice with Venerable Thich Tri Hoang and brothers and sisters from our other DTO sanghas. The retreat is free.

3-Day Year End Retreat: This retreat is a highlight of the class. You will meet and practice with Venerable Thich Tri Hoang and brothers and sisters from our other DTO sanghas. Location to be announced. An additional fee of $200 is needed to cover costs of retreat. This can be paid in installments.
